My work takes many forms including photography, video and object-making, which often come together to create installations. Depending on the concept being explored, the materials I use may vary. However my most important material is time.
My work is made possible by spending intensive periods of time with people in their own environment. This involves a period of research and gathering source material in the environment in question.
The subjects of this work often emerge through the act of storytelling, a process of uncovering the unseen. My role is to act as a witness, documenting the experience of these encounters. To relay stories that would perhaps otherwise not be heard.
